I bought this kit from someone else, so some parts have been worked on. Like the boat tha has been glued to it's base.

Because the base was glued to the boat, I had to remove it first.

Carving in the edges with a knive untill it came off.

With the following result/damage.

After removing the boat from the base i had to restore the damage, that meant a lot of sanding, filler, sanding, filler and some more sanding

This is what the boat looks like in a rude dry-fit.

Now the boat is sprayed in primer

after that, i sprayed the boat in it's olive drab (vallejo) colour. And you can't see the damage anymore.

And after I applied the paint, i continued with adding some extra detail to the cabin. To add copper wire instead of strechted sprue.

Afterwards I wasn't really satisfied with the result and i'm going to replace them for a thinner wire.

This is what the cabin looks like from the inside for now.

Painted the inside of the searchlight on the gunnernest

an other overal view

Last time I added copper wire to the radartower but the wires were to thick, so i replaced them for much thinner wire, with the following result.

Also painted some details in the cabin. I also added a few layers tamiya Smoke to the radar screen and compass.

I added a wire that comes from the cabin and that goes into the radarpole and upto the radartower.

The progres of the boat came to a halt when i was waiting for some parts, extra detail. But i will continue work on the boat very soon.
